My favorite memory behind the bar has to be when I met Jim. I free poured a vodka and cranberry at 3rd & 3rd and he looked at me and said, “Wow. That was the most perfect pour”. As he picked his jaw off the bar top, I just slowly rolled my eyes and said, uhh, yeah? Duh. Like, who the hell doesn’t know how to pour a cape codder? I had such a crush on him and really didn’t know how to respond and we both awkwardly realized how silly we had made ourselves look. Both our facial expressions are burned into our memories, and we laugh about that day still.
